How to cook fried kombu “chips”
FRIED KOMBU – “CHIPS”
Ingredients
- Kombu strips desalted or rehydrated and well drained and dried
- Olive oil for frying
- Fresh pepper
Preparation
- Heat the oil
- Fry the chips until they change color and are crisp. If fresh seaweed is available, you can make kombu “knots” and fry, to obtain crispy and delicious knots.
- Serve with pepper
Properties
A different bite, ideal to present the seaweeds to the children.
