What is a musician dessert?

A musician desserts is a typical dish of the region of Catalonia (Spain). This is a dessert of nuts and dried fruits, which is served with a sweet wine or muscatel.

It is called in this way because it is said that musicians, during their performances, caught a handful of nuts and ate them between pauses.

This recipe is very rich in calcium, from dried fruits, and minerals and essential fatty acids, provided by nuts.
