ACAI RECIPES
GELEIA DE AÇAI RECIPE
Delicious jam made from acai juice and brown sugar. It’s a soft recipe, full of vitamins, minerals and anthocyanins.

Ingredients
– 2 liters of juice Acai
– 1 pound of brown sugar
– Optional: a branch of cinnamon, or a teaspoon of grated lemon rind, or a grated orange peel and anise.
Preparation
– Mix the acai juice with brown sugar and the spices you want.
– Bake it in a moderate heat for about 1 ½ hours. Stir continuously.
– Allow to cool and place in containers.
– If you want, add the jam bits of orange peel (remember to wash it well and leave it to soak overnight in the refrigerator). Add the orange peel cut into pieces.
Properties
This dish is ideal for providing energy, for example in children and adults breakfast or as a snack. It is a supplement of vitamins and minerals for a diet recommended for everyone.
It shows an attractive purple color, which contains all the necessary antioxidants to combat stress, smoking, or simply to avoid aging.
It also has antioxidants from spices or citrus fruits that we add.
It’s a very sweet jam, because of the high sugar content we’ve added, but while this proportion is necessary to make it thicken the recipe.
People with diabetes should moderate this recipe.
