PRESERVED BEANS

beansIngredients for each kilo of preserved beans

  • 1 Kilo of beans.
  • ½ liter of water.
  • ½ teaspoon salt.
  • ½ lemon juice.

Preparation

  • Cut the beans into small pieces.
  • Clean them well.
  • Put them in glass jars
  • Mix the water with salt and lemon juice and stir until the salt has dissolved.
  • Cap the jar well to keep out the air.
  • Boil them au Bain Marie with the water completely covering the jars for ¾ of an hour.

How to prepare them

You can eat them:

  • boiled with oil.
  • with potatoes
