Viburnum lantana – (Wayfaring tree)

Deciduous shrub of the honeysuckle family –caprifoliaceae– till 6 m. tall. Opposite leaves ovate, wrinkled up, downy below. Flowers in umbrella-shaped heads, yellow white. Red fruit which becomes black till 1 cm in diameter. Woods and hedges.
