Perennial herb of the Lily family – Liliaceae– up to 1’5 m. Erect stem, strong. Leaves oval or elliptic, alternate till 25 cm, with patent nervation. Flowers in ending panicle, green outside; whitish inside, with a short stem. the fruit is a capsule. In mountains, damp grazing lands and by the side of streams.
