Why is wormwood good for the liver?
Wormwood is a good choleretic because it increases the production of bile and a good cholagogue because it stimulates the expulsion of bile from the gallbladder.
Doing this increases the fluid of liquid through the liver so that, together with the bile, we can expel a whole series of toxins that would otherwise be accumulated in the liver.
Which liver diseases is wormwood good for?
The use of this plant is positive in certain diseases in which the liver is affected, such as:
- Hepatic insufficiency (Infusion of one teaspoon of dried plants per cup of water for 5 minutes.Take 2 cups a day, in short sips from time to time, without sweetening)
- Hepatic colic (Infusion of one teaspoon of dried plants per cup of water for 15 minutes.Take 3 tablespoons a day, in short sips from time to time, unsweetened)
- Jaundice (Infusion of one teaspoon of dried plant per cup of water for 15 minutes.Take 1 small cup unsweetened,in small sips from time to time, before breakfast)
- Hepatitis: It is also considered interesting for the recovery of patients with hepatitis caused by chemical intoxication. (Take wormwood capsules according to the conditions of the package label)
