What is the orange blossom?
Orange blossom is the flower of orange tree (Citrus x sinensis). An orange tree is a plant of the Rutaceae family, originally from Southeast Asia, belonging to the group of citrus plants.
Orange blossom (“azahar” flower in Spanish) has an exceptional aroma.
Characteristics of the flower of orange blossom
Orange flowers are white and are distinguished by its very fragrant aroma.
They have 5 petals and numerous stamens. The flowers are collected in spring and should be dried extended so that they retain their aromatic properties better. Then they will be stored in a dry and dark place.
Uses of orange blossom

The preparations with flowers of orange blossom have the following main properties:

- Stomach ulcer: Orange blossom flowers are used in combination with other plants such as chamomile or linden to treat stomach ulcers. (Mixed infusion of equal parts chamomile, lime and orange flowers 1 teaspoon per cup for 30 minutes 3 cups a day)
