The flowers also are considered edible and can be used as a spice, adding them to meals. They can also be cooked.

  • Germinated mustard seeds: Seeds can be eaten raw or crushed and powdered and added to food as a flavoring.

Once the plant has produced fruits, it can’t be eaten, because it is toxic.
