List of spices for cooking
The following list offers a list of spices and condiments for cooking. It contains both aromatic plants such as “savory” or “mint” along with well-known spices such as “saffron” or “mustard”. We also did not want to do without some sauces widely used around the world such as “vinaigrette sauce”.
Some combinations are very common in certain places, such as “garam masala” in India or “mayonnaise” in the West. Other combinations are universal and some are very exotic, even in places where the ingredients used to make them are common, such is the example of “nettle salt.”
We hope that a proper use of these species can help you prepare more flavorful and aromatic dishes, while at the same time you can take advantage of the medicinal properties of each of the spices and seasonings widely described in each of the following articles.
