LIST OF FOODS WITH A LOT OF CYSTINE
As in most amino acids, foods containing them are those with a high protein concentration:
Animal foods rich is cystine

- Spinach
- Pulses (lentils)
- Buckwheat
Buckwheat grains, very rich in cystine
- Almonds
- Legumes flour (soy flour)
- Cereals (wheat, pasta, rice, etc.)
- Nuts and seeds.
We also found concentrations of this amino acid in coffee and oat bran.
