How to make an apple salad
HOMEMADE APPLE SALAD RECIPE
Ingredients for four people:
- 374 kg of strawberries.
- 220 g of cottage cheese
- 2 apples
- Two yogurts.
- Currants.
- Apple cider vinegar.
- Brown sugar
Preparation
- Clean and wash the strawberries and remove the stalks and leaves. (Wash before cutting the corners so they do not lose vitamins and minerals)
- Chop the strawberries
- Add the brown sugar and a little apple cider vinegar. Let stand for half an hour to decrease the acidity
- Mix the cottage cheese and yogurt. Add the sliced strawberries and a handful of currants. Mix everything very well.
- Just before serving to avoid the apples browning, peel the apples, grate and cover the salad.
Ways to serve
Serve as a first course.
