What is azadirachtin?
Azadirachtin or neem oil (C35H44O16) is a product obtained from the neem tree (Azadirachta indica) a tree from India, which, for its medicinal properties as well as its ecological values, is one of the most planted trees in the tropical countries.
Properties of azadirachtin
The oil extracted from this plant contains many flavonoids with insecticidal properties. This product inhibits the sensation of hunger in insects, which causes their weakening and subsequent death.
It is considered one of the best biological insecticides due to its practically null toxicity and its ability to be degraded after about 4 days of being applied by the action of water and sunlight.

The form of application is mixing it with water in a proportion of about 30 grams per 4 and a half liters of water.
